Canada's Hero
Roleplay #3
Roleplay 1 of 2 for PWR Crash 14
The first day in Pure Wrestling Revival was a day of many accomplishments for the one we refer to as “Hero”. It was a day of new beginnings, a day of continued dominance, and a day of reckoning for the entire federation. A new chapter began in the career of this one man, a chapter that few know how or even if it will have an end. The life of this man has certainly made a drastic turn in these past few years and things are different. Age has settled in, will the Hero be different? Will he be easier on his opponents? Does he even care anymore? Questions are still arising from the crowds and fans that follow wrestling and especially the Canadians who have waited for this day for half a decade.
We look back to what happened with Canada’s Hero in his first match in PWR. The very first time he stepped into the ring. Let’s take a look: (The cameras fade to a replay of Crash TV #13 where and to Canada’s Hero’s debut match)
****The official goes outside to check on Weaver. Just then Trevor Stone walks out. He sneaks in the ring behind Scorpio and lays a few closed fists in the back of his head. Then he drags him to the corner and uses the ropes to choke him.
David Saturn
THIS LOOKS REAL BAD FOR CAGE!
THIS LOOKS BAD FOR ANYONE IN THIS SITUATION!
He rams his head into the steel post. Then Stone slides out of the ring and picks up a chair. He blasts Too Cool Scorpio Cage in the forehead with it. Trevor Stone laughs as he walks away. Meanwhile outside the ring the official is being distracted as he is trying to aid weaver. Finally weaver is up back to his feet. He slides into the ring. Scorpio gets up staggering and turns around. Dustin Weaver gets set to hit his finisher. Scorpio turns around and bang its over. Weaver scores the win.****
The win was given to Mr. Hero. His hand was raised in victory, BUT this was not the way he wanted to win. What was Trevor Stone thinking by interfering in this match?
The screen now goes to Canada’s Hero at his house in Toronto sitting on the sofa in front of the television. On the screen you can see is a wrestling match that he continues to replay. As we look on the screen we see he is at the part where Trevor Stone comes in and knocks out Scorpio Cage. It is easy to see that Weaver’s face has turned red as he is watching and is full of envy. He slams the remote down and walks off out of the picture. Who would believe that a win could be so dissatisfying! That the beginning of a new chapter could have such a drastic turn.
Weaver walks around the house and we see him going up the stairs as he knocks a glass vase off a mantle and it shatters onto the wood floor. He takes a picture frame and tosses it down in similar fashion. Clearly this is not sitting well with him even days after the match has been over. Suddenly the phone rings and after a few seconds of hesitation Weaver picks up the phone and answers it.
On the other end is a representative of Pure Wrestling Revival. He has a match, a second match in the return of the Hero. This time he is said to face Steve Dave. The name does not matter at all. The only thing that matters is it is another chance to prove his worth, to prove he can still fight, to prove he can win without the help of anyone else. The beginning of this chapter did not start the way he envisioned. In the papers many are still questioning whether he would have won without the help, still very few believe that he is serious about this comeback. As he slams the phone down after the conversation a sick and sadistic smile comes on his face. He takes his fist and pounds it against an open palm. His next visit to the ring is only days away…… thoughts flash through Dustin Weaver’s mind…. Thoughts of destruction… thoughts of evil…. Thoughts that he has tried for years to suppress all have came rushing back in an instant and BAM!!!.... the cameras fade away and the scene is lost…… last week was the return….. but this week what’s next?
To be continued….
