The camera's crackle to life in time to see Christian Gold walking through the backstage area of the PWR arena, he is walking at a quick pace with satisfaction written all over his face. The new number one contender is wearing a black sleeveless shirt that says "Golden Era" On the front and "Tap or Snap!" on the back We also notice Christian carrying a steel chair in his hand as he walks. He turns the corner leading to his private lockeroom as the PWR's newest interviewer Marcus Drake stands in front of him. Christian looks at the man slightly confused even as to who this invader is, Marcus cracks a smile at the irritated Christian Gold and speaks.
Marcus Drake-" Christian I was wondering if I could ask you a couple of questions starting with how you feel about your huge victory at last nights event?
Christian looks at Marcus in sheer bewilderment.
Christian Gold-" Ask me some questions? Well I got some questions for you bucko, one, who the fuck are you? two, why the fuck are you wasting my time?
Christian looks down at the steel chair in his hands then back at Marcus as a evil sneer spreads across his face.
Christian Gold-" And three, why the fuck shouldn’t I wrap this chair around your goddamned head?
Marcus takes a step back with the clear and suddenly terrifying revelation that me might have just put himself in danger.
Marcus Drake-" Whoa whoa whoa! Behind on current events? I'm Marcus Drake the new guy here in the PWR and I would love to make you my first interview! So what do you say Christian, will you give me a break?
Christian Gold-" You don’t have much time before I lose my interest , so I suggest you make it quick Marcus.
Christian stands looking at marcus. He is rolling his shoulders and obviously somewhat agitated but willing to listen... at least for the moment.
Marcus Drake-" First off as I said earlier, congratulations on defeating the very tough Dustin Weaver I know it must feel good to overcome such a challenge. I mea….
Christian rolls his eyes at Marcus and interrupts him.
Christian Gold-" A challenge?! I don’t know who the hell you were talking to, but it wasn’t a challenge, it was written in the stars. I could have walked into that ring blindfolded and the result would have been the same. I am better then him it's as simple as that.
Marcus Drake-" Well never let it be said that you lack confidence. So now here is question number two. How do you feel about having to face him again this week, and not only that but putting your newly won Number one contender spot on the line?
Christian Gold-" I think it is an exercise in idiocy. I don’t know why the corporate brass wants to force feed this guy another loss. He couldn’t beat me last night for a title shot why would next week make a lick of difference? I feel bad for the guy. Three losses in three weeks? That is not going to be good for his obviously fragile psyche.
Christian turns to face the camera his body stiffening as his cold rage flows throughout him.
Christian Gold-" I already told you once Dustin. I am the champion this failing company needs. I am the paladin of the people, the white knight who is here to save the fans from "Athletes" like you. Hell your not even an athlete Dustin. I see you for what you are. You're a a parasite, a festering disease. A leech that is trying to pull the wool over the people's eyes. Trying to convince them that you are here to help them, to help save this company when all you do is suck them dry and give nothing in return. I will cut the wool free Dustin, I will let the blind see, and when they do everyone will know and see you for the fraud you are.
Christian smiles at the camera a fire burning very clearly in his eyes.
Christian Gold-" You know what I speak is the truth Dustin, when have I lied? Everything I have said has come to pass. I said I would put Scorpio Cage on the sidelines and I did that. I told everyone that Robert Carr would get smashed by me, the hero that the people have cried out to save them for far far too long. I told you that I would beat you last night, and I was right. You know what the best part is?
Christian lifts up the steel chair he has been holding so it's directly where the camera can see.
Christian Gold-" I didn’t even have to beat you. You beat yourself. You let your anger and stupidity get the best of you, and because of that you took a HUGE risk. A risk I capitalized on. You think I’m not a master of all elements in this industry Dustin? You honestly didn't think that I knew the second you couldn’t beat me on your own merits you would resort to turning it into a full fledged brawl? You didn't think that me being the apex predator here in the PWR I wouldn’t be able to capitalize on your desperation and make you pay for it?
Christian scoffs a laugh, glances down at the steel chair then back at the camera.
Christian Gold-" You were wrong though weren’t you Dustin? I did make you pay for it didn’t I ? In the end it was you who got the business end of this chair and I walked away as always, unscathed and one step closer to my goal.
Christian Gold pauses for a second obviously thinking of the events that transpired last night before speaking again.
Christian Gold-" Your not in my league Dustin, you will never be in my league. That's just the cold hard facts. After this coming Monday the only thing anyone will EVER remember you for is being the stepping stone that catapulted the greatest wrestler to ever strap on a pair of boots into the spotlight where I belong.
Marcus stands in silence looking at Christian astonished by his intensity for a moment before he regains his composure.
Marcus Drake-" So what’s the next stop for you after this weeks match Christian?
Christian stares into the camera as the fire in his eye's flare and a wicked smile spreads across his face.
Christian Gold-" Hell.
Christian turns and continues his walk as the camera's fade.

The scene begins as the Black Ferrari of our hero, Christian Gold pulls into the parking lot of his Mixed martial arts Academy and professional wrestling school “Bleed Out”. The engine turns off and Christian steps out of it wearing his custom “Golden Era” Sleeveless T-shirt and carrying a black duffel bag. Christian walks to the front door of the gym and steps in. He walks up to the front counter as a pretty blonde turns to him Smiling.
Blonde-” Hey boss how are you today?
Christian looks at her coolly.
Christian Gold-” Doing fine Denise, just thought I’d get some work in for my up coming match. I predicted a BIG win and the last thing I ever want to do is eat my words.
Denise-” Yeah you better! You wont make just yourself look bad, but all of us here at the gym you know?
Our hero suddenly starts to feel cold anger course through his veins as he speaks.
Christian Gold-” What the hell does this have to do with you? This is my match, my time to shine, I am trying to save the PWR and all you can think about is yourself and this damn gym? That’s selfish Denise, so why don’t you make yourself useful and go tell Mike I am here and ready to work.
Christian is staring at Denise with such intensity that she doesn’t even dare to look him in the eye as she speaks.
Denise-” Mike wont be here for another thirty minutes but I will tell him you arrived.
Christian doesn’t even respond as he walks into the gym’s lockeroom. He takes off his shirt and changes into his wrestling trunks then slowly puts on both of his knee braces. He stands in silence beating on his chest obviously pumping himself up for today’s workout. After several moments of this Christian walks out of the lockeroom and into the weight lifting section of the gym. He walks up to the bench-press machine and begins loading on plates until there is almost five hundred pounds on the bar. He slides underneath the Bar and jerks it off the rack and drops it down to his chest and back up. Then again, and again. Each time Christian does this he grunts louder then the time before and his muscles surge harder and farther out then last time, finally it looks as if his muscles might actually shred through his skin and he continues to push anyway roaring like a beast that has become blood drunk. Christian pushes it up five more times before finally stopping. As he puts the bar back on the rack and sits up our hero realizes that a large crowd has amassed around him. Christian stands and rolls his shoulders back and forth trying to stretch the burn out as one of the men in the crowd speaks.
Gym Rat-” Holy Shit man! That was amazing! I didn’t even think lifting that much weight that many times was humanly possible!
Christian stands up looking at the people admiring him, his people. He wishes he had some great words for them. Wishes he come tell them something, but at this moment he can not. Chest heaving drenched in sweat, without saying a word he walks past them to the next machine. He loads up thirteen hundred pounds on the leg press and goes to work. Once again our hero pushes his body to it’s absolute physical limits just to once again be the best in the world. He is willing to bleed himself dry, work himself to death just so he doesn’t disappoint his people. He is willing to give his all to this sport and put his own personal life on the back burner so he can save this industry, as well as the people in it. With every push Christian thinks of the incredible high stakes of this weeks match. If he wins the match then it’s the first step of many to cleanse this industry of the disease that plagues it. If he loses, well he can barely handle the thought of that… but if he loses the war he is waging will be lost. The people will lose faith in him and he will fail at what he now considers to be his life work. He pushes harder and harder with each repetition taking his strength and determination to new heights. Muscles burning now, Sweat dripping into his eye’s Christian is forcing himself to become the rock the people need. The force that can pull this business into a whole new era. He stops pushing and gets to his feet breathing incredibly heavy his muscles jumping and surging immensely as a man walks up to him.
Man-” Hey man, what’s up? You ready to get it done?
Christian looks at the man as he stretches his leg trying to loosen up from the beating he just put himself through. He stops stretching breathing easier now and speaks.
Christian Gold-” That’s why I am here Mike, lets go put in some work.
The Two men walk together towards the wrestling ring and MMA cage as they are Walking Mike speaks.
Mike-”You know you really made Denise nervous today. She said that she said one thing to you and you ripped her head off.
Christian Sighs and rolls his eye’s while speaking.
Christian Gold-” She can cry as much as she wants. She told me if I lost my match I would make this whole gym look bad.
Christian’s voice begins to raise as the anger is coming forward.
Christian Gold-” I built this damn gym! Like I don’t know what’s on the line?! There is so much more to lose then this gym, My career is on the line! If I lose this match that’s it mike, I might as well pack my shit and hang up my boots. So the last thing I need is someone who I write their check tell me what’s on the line, you get what I am saying Mike?
Mike laughs lightly as the two men make it to the ring. At the ring there are multiple men standing around it waiting for something, some of them look anxious others seem calm and collected.
Mike-” I do I do, but just try to be nicer to her ok Christian? She is a hard worker and a damn good girl.
Christian Gold-” We going to do some work or are you just going to lecture me?
Mike-” Boy or boy are we going to work!
Mike turns to face the men surrounding the ring and speaks.
Mike-” Alright boys, I am sure all of you know who this man is, and he is preparing for the biggest match of his professional career. You guys are fortunate enough to help him get ready for that match! Are there any questions?
None of the men speak a word some of them have smiles spread across the face obviously proud to even be a part of something as big as this. Christian However stands there arms crossed seemingly unsure of what is happening.
Christian Gold-” Mike are you sure it’s a good idea to be wrestling with these guys? I mean are they even close to my level? I don’t want to waste my time doing this when I could be doing something more worthy.
Mike-” Just give me a chance will you? Justin step forward.
The biggest man of the group steps forward, and boy is he Big. Easily 6’8 and 300 pounds he is a quite impressive physical specimen. He stands in front of Christian and Mike his eye’s locked on Christian.
Mike-” Alright Christian this is Justin Oldfield, a Multiple high school wrestling Champion as well as a two time NCAA division 1 Heavyweight champion. He is trying out for the U.S. Olympic team next month. I figured he would be pretty good for you face since many people are talking that he might be the next force in wrestling.
Christian Gold steps forward so him and Justin are chest to chest, this is one of the few times in Christian’s life that he has ever been the smaller man. Christian looks up at the man and there eye’s lock.
Christian Gold-” So you’re a pretty good wrestler huh?
Justin Oldfield-” You could say that Lots of people think I am going to break all of your records, that I am going to follow in your footsteps to becoming the best wrestler ever.
Christian is taken aback at this young mans cocky statement. Imagine that? This young punk thinks he will be able to follow in the footsteps of the greatest wrestler ever, our hero Christian Gold.
Christian Gold-” And what about you, what do you think?
Justin Oldfield-” I am not going to follow in your footsteps, I am going to eclipse them and make some of my own.
Justin smiles at Christian Cockily as Christian’s eyes slightly flare in anger. Mike steps between the two men and speaks.
Mike-” Well I hate to break up this session of whose jimmy is bigger, but why don’t you guys get in the ring and settle it?
Christian Sneers at the young man and climbs into the ring. Justin tears off his shirt and follows him in.
Mike-” Alright guys lets remember now this is training we are not trying to kill each other ok?
Justin nods his head yes and Christian is on him like a madman. He whips Justin off the ropes and slams him to the mat with a powerful Spinebuster. Justin punches the mat in anger as Christian stands above him ready. Justin stands up and Christian gets him in a tight waist. Justin reverses it and Makes Christian pay with a five point German suplex. Christian crashes off the mat hard as Justin stands above him pounding his chest and smiling wickedly.
Mike-” Come on now boys, this is just training DON’T try to kill each other!
Christian and Justin pay little attention to Mike. Christian rises to his feet and the two big men lock up. Christian whips Justin off the ropes again and takes him down with a drop toe hold. Christian immediately scrambles and gets on top of Justin locking on a very painful Americana. Justin yelps in pain and taps the mat but Christian only increases the torque. Mike jumps onto the ring apron and begins to yell.
Mike-” Christian let him go! This is just training don’t break his arm man!
Christian looks up at Mike with a crazed wild look in his eye’s refusing to let go. Justin is continuing to scream and then there is a loud pop. Christian then releases the hold and stands up. The camera pans in to see Justin’s arm which is very clearly dislocated.
Christian Gold-” You think you even have chance of becoming as successful as me Justin? You think that you are the future of this sport? Well that’s impossible because I am the goddamned past, present and the fucking Future of this sport! This is my time Justin, this is my ring and you are a trespasser. I treat all trespassers the same boy… with Hostility!
Christian gets out of the ring as medical personal swarms the downed Justin trying to take care of his badly dislocated arm, Christian starts a B line towards the lockeroom with Mike following behind him.
Mike-” Where the hell did you go Psycho? That was completely uncalled for. He is just a kid Christian, you had no right behaving the way you did!
Christian turns around with that crazed look in his eye’s causing Mike to stop in his tracks. Christian turns back around and heads into the Lockeroom.
**Fade**
The screen comes back to life with Christian gold sitting in in a nicely decorated room on a beautiful leather couch. This time Christian is dressed to the nines he is wearing a gorgeous jet black Armani suit, a blood red undershirt, a ash grey tie and dark brown wing tipped shoe’s. Christian is deep in thought evident by the look on his face. Christian sits back sinking into the cushions rubbing his temples as his wife Deanna comes from behind him and begins rubbing his shoulders, Christian instinctively pulls away from the touch being startled back to reality. Deanna leans over the couch so she can look Christian in the eye’s and speaks.
Deanna Gold-” What’s your problem baby? Something is obviously bugging you, I mean I cant even put my hands on you without you freaking out and jumping away! What’s wrong?
Christian Gold-” Sorry babe, it’s not you… it’s just the magnitude of the situation I am in is really beginning to sink in. I mean my whole life has lead to this match, I am at the cusp of becoming everything this company needs, The verge of finally reclaiming this sport for the athletes. To bring it back to where talent matters, not just who sells the most T-shirts, or who kisses the most ass. If I lose though it’s all over Deanna, all of it. My hopes and my dreams will be flushed down the toilet and for the first time in my life I will have failed.
Christian sits forward on the couch leaning his elbows off his knee’s and rubbing his temples again as Deanna speaks trying to help her husband, our hero, through this turbulent time.
Deanna Gold-” Do you really think you can fail babe? All this time of preparing, of pushing your body to it’s absolute physical limits, and you think it’s even possible to stumble this close to the finish line? I assure you honey you are the best wrestler that has ever existed and there is no force on heaven or earth that can stop you from saving this company. So stop worrying about the negative because that just isn’t going to happen ok darling?
Christian looks up at his wife smiling as he kisses her gently on the lips. After their warm embrace a man walks in wearing a headset and speaks.
Man-” Christian the press conference is all set up, the media is here and they are just waiting for you.
Christian Gold-” Alright man let’s go.
Christian gets up and follows the man out of the room down a hallway and into the large open conference room. As soon as Christian walks through the door the camera’s start popping nearly blinding Christian as he makes his way to the podium. Christian stand sin front of the crowd as an almost euphoric feeling overtakes him. These are his people. These are the people he hears in his head every night, pleading crying and begging for a hero. For someone to come and pull them out of the slump this business is in and bring it to the new horizon .Christian feels a swell of overwhelming pride, and determination. He couldn’t fail now even if he wanted to, it isn’t even a option. Christian gets ready to field come questions his confidence growing by the minute.
Christian Gold-” Alright lets get this thing started.
Christian points at a female reporter in the front of the crowd. She steps forward a bit. and speaks.
Female Reporter-” Alright Christian first off thanking you for putting this press conference together. Now onto my question. You had a meteoric rise in MMA then suddenly you left and appeared in professional wrestling, people are under the assumption it’s because you couldn’t handle the damage that came with that sport so you came to professional wrestling a sport that many skeptics consider to be fake. What is your opinion of that?
Christian shakes his head lets out a sigh.
Christian Gold-”I really wish people would look into the facts before flapping their gums. I left the world of MMA because I had to. I dominated that sport I was the champion of the world when I left! The reason I left is, I have never tried to hide the fact I have a temper and on some occasions it gets the better of me, and in one of my title defense it did just that. I choked my opponent even after the referee ordered me to let him go. So no, I didn’t quit because I couldn’t handle the sport. I was removed from it.
Christian looks out at his people trying to maintain his calm, after all he is the light to guide them through these dark and dismal times.
Christian Gold-” And as far as professional wrestling being fake… to all he nay Sayers, please I implore you, I beg of you to step in the ring for one night and you can feel first hand how “fake” this sport is. Next question.
Christian scans the crowd and calls upon a man towards the back to ask his question next.
Male reporter-”Christian you won a controversial victory over Dustin Weaver last Sunday At valentine’s day massacre. Many people think you didn’t earn the win at all how do you feel about the outcome of the match?
Christian Gold-” I feel the outcome was correct. Dustin was the one who wanted to bring in a steel chair, Dustin was the one that gave me the chance to capitalize on the mistake he made. It’s his fault if he feels he was robbed, not mine. He introduced the chair into the contest I just capitalized upon that fact.
Christian scoffs a laugh and continues on.
Christian Gold-” To be perfectly honest I don’t think the chair made a lick of difference regarding the outcome, I was going to win that match regardless of how I did it. The PWR is mine along with the world title, Dustin was just a bump in the road a bump I steamrolled with incredible ease. It was inevitable. Hell Dustin wasn’t even competing against me in that match. He was battling fate, and we all know that you cannot fight fate. Next question.
Christian points at another male reporter in the far left corner of the room and the reporter begins to speak.
Male Reporter-” How do you feel about having to face Dustin Weaver again? Not only that but what are your thoughts on having to fight for the number one contenders spot a week after winning it against the same man you beat for it in the first place?
Christian’s cracks a evil smile. This was the question he was waiting on. This is the time to tell everyone of his intentions pure and simple.
Christian Gold-” I think it’s lunacy. I think it shows that our bosses have sympathy for a man who five years ago might have been the best in this sport but now he simply is not. His mind tells him he can do everything he used to be able to do, but his body screams loudly in opposition. This sport has passed him by, evolved into a thing he couldn’t even hope to be on top of ever again. He is falling and I know the fall is hard but it doesn’t mean I should be subjugated to facing off two weeks In a row against a man who does not have a quarter of the talent I posses. I am the future of this sport, the hero for these people, the person to give this company a proud legacy of a fighting champion that it sorely needs. I will be world champion and there is nothing a former long past his prime champion can do about it. This week on Crash T.V. I plan to silence all the people who think I got lucky last week, I plan to shut them down and roll them out. More importantly I plan to show Weaver himself that all the dreams he has of ever being world champion again, are just that dreams. This week Dustin is going to get beat soundly, I am going to break his body down to the point of where he will never be able to even think of competing again. The ring is my home, my hunting ground and he is my prey. By Crash TV’s end Dustin Weaver will have tapped the mat in absolute agony and let those harsh cruel words spill from his lips, the words every champion dreads to ever speak and those words are “I quit”. This is the start of my Golden Era and the end of Dustin’s. Now if you’ll excuse me I have more training to do.
Christian walks out of the conference room and the camera’s fade to black.

Canada’s Hero The Return Part 12 Canada’s Hero Rp 1 of 2 for Crash “The New Era” Well Valentine’s Day came and ended with heartbreak. Every year this holiday is one that many either look forward to with extreme anticipation or fear with sheer terror. For some it is a time to love and be loved, while for others it is a time to be alone and dwell on not having a significant other. Many gifts are bought, many are given, and hearts are joined together as one. However, on this day in 2010 there was a Massacre in New Jersey. The Massacre I am speaking of was Valentine’s Day Massacre, the pay-per-view held by PWR. It wasn’t the body of Dustin Weaver, also known as Canada’s Hero, that got massacred that day, but it was the mind. One loss had seemed nearly too much to handle for the fragile man, but a second defeat at the hands of Christian Gold was just unexplainable. The fans in Canada that tuned in that night turned off their sets and lay in bed knowing this may be the end. They had high hopes and dreams just like many of those on Valentine’s that hoped for a ring, or golden jewelry, like those that hoped for the “promise” of love. Hero had promised them just that, a hero, and yet had not delivered. A hero is defined in Webster’s dictionary as:
“a man distinguished by exceptional courage and nobility and strength” and
“champion: someone who fights for a cause”. All those things Canada’s Hero had promised he would be. He had assured them that the return would not be in vain, that only good could come of it no matter where it led. It was a journey that thousands in his native land had embarked on with him, hoping that they too would share a piece of the glory knowing it was their own that conquered the wrestling world. Many felt betrayed, columns were being written in local newspapers with the headlines of “Loser”, “Failed Return”, “Where Does It End”, and even “Canada’s Zero”…. All these had been read by the man himself, and had sent his depression in a downward spiral that was spinning out of control. With all the information gathered we arrive on the scene of Dr. Morgan’s Psychiatric Clinic. A place where the worst of the worst go to talk, share their feelings, and find someone to listen to the problems of the world that are sending them out of control. Dustin Weaver’s Lexus is parked in the far right spot, just out of view from the main highway in Toronto, hoping to avoid another newspaper article or report. Once inside we see Dr. Morgan seated behind his desk, a quick glance across the room and it is easy to see where we are at. A Psychiatric University degree hangs to the right, and a few posters with bright colors, and inspiration sayings such as “Never Give Up!” and “Keep the Faith” are draped to the right. The colors immediately catch Hero’s eye as he checks out the scenery. “Ahhh… I see you’ve noticed the posters first” Dr. Morgan states enthusiastically. “Those are eyecatchers, go ahead have a seat sir” Dustin reluctantly pulls out the chair from across Dr. Morgan’s desk. He then slowly turns around as if to make sure the door was closed behind him, which it was, and then lounges into the seat almost as if to hide his face from the doctor in front of him. “No need to be shy sir… this is the best decision you have ever made” says Morgan. “The first step in recovery is admitting that there is a problem. Once you’ve done that you are 90% on your way. Now what can I help you with today…. (Glances at his papers to read the name)… Mr. Weaver? “I don’t know… things are just not the same. I’m struggling with life, with why I’m doing what I’m doing, with where I’m going, and with myself.” Dustin says. “Well tell me about what caused this struggle? How long has this been going on?” Morgan asks. “It’s actually new. The last two weeks to be exact. See I’m a wrestler.”
“A what?” says Morgan… “You are Canada’s Hero???”
“That’s me…. But can we please keep this private?” Dustin asks hoping that his wish would be fulfilled.
“This is 100% confidential, I never thought I’d see you hear, but please continue.” Morgan asks as he moves closer and smiles now realizing he has a superstar in front of him today. “For five years I have been out of the game. I have planned for the last year my return. Everyday I have been in the gym working towards one goal…. To get back in the ring and be the very best. However, these last two weeks things just haven’t gone right….” Says Dustin, stopping to remember the horrors of his past two matches.
“You mean Ned and Gold right?” says Morgan. “Exactly. Two weeks, two losses. Even in front of a worldwide audience. It just seems like my hopes and dreams are crashing down. I have nowhere to turn. I am supposed to take care of Elizabeth, to show her strength, not this weakness. No one knows this side of me, it hurts.” Dustin says with a tear in his eye. “Unfortunately it has come to this. I don’t know what else to do, where else to go, how to survive. Maybe I should just quit, hang up the boots, live a life of secrecy, and go find a house in suburban Toronto” said Dustin. “No, no, no sir. The first thing you will learn here is that you must push yourself to great heights. We already know that you have the heart of the champion, you have the will to win or else you wouldn’t be here today. The thing you are lacking is the confidence. I think the loss to Ned got you messed up. It ended your perfect streak in PWR and then that carried over to Gold.” Morgan says. Dustin jumps up from his chair “Do you mean you think I can beat Gold?”
“Of course you can beat Gold. You can beat anyone out there. You have to be confident in yourself and your abilities. You aren’t that old, you still have the power and I think deep down you know that. Be your own person and let everything go.” Morgan suggests to Hero with an emotional surge in his broken voice. With that urge of motivation a sudden spurt of energy runs deep through the veins of Weaver. A source of energy unlike any other, a unparalleled feeling that can only come from deep within; from inside the heart. He stood on his seat and lifted his arms up in the air. It was as if that moment the world stopped for just a few brief seconds, the problems went away, and everything was ok again. Dustin was on top of the world and knew that he could enjoy that feeling again in just a few weeks. The title wasn’t out of his grasps yet. Sure, after this week it could be, but it wasn’t YET. There was time… there was hope…. “There’s hope!” He screamed out… “I can do this shit!!! I can beat Gold… I can beat Hell… I can beat them all!” “That’s what I mean” Morgan declared. “That’s what you’ve been searching for!” He knew that very moment that coming to Dr. Morgan’s was the best thing he had done his entire life. He had always wondered when people said that they felt something inside of them, most recently those of the Christian faith that they felt like there was an inner being that was pushing them forward and driving them and giving them the will to succeed. He finally felt that. He finally felt the push, the motivation, and the necessity of this.
Then in one fail swoop the emotion seemed to seep out of him and he stepped down off the chair and sunk back into it before uttering the words “And what if I lose?”
Dr. Morgan stopped for a moment himself, he had almost been positive that the two had experienced a big breakthrough, but like most people in depression it only took one negative thought to bring it right back. He had to think of something to give this man to hang onto. He had to envision something that could be done and that would be done. He had already thought of the consequences of this meeting and how that if his client, Canada’s Hero, did not win the next match he may do something drastic and fall even deeper into the hole that has been dug and carved out by the depression. “I believe in you. I really do”. Those were the only words the doctor could get out at the time. He thought that they probably weren’t enough and that they wouldn’t satisfy Hero, but as he looked up from his desk and into the eyes of the wrestling superstar, turned depressed citizen, he saw a quick sparkle, he saw the look of a champion. “You are the first person to have truly said that to me. It’s been an honor. I think I have all I need right here.” Canada’s Hero pointed to his heart and pounded his chest quietly as he stood up and the doctor arose simultaneously. He knew in his heart what he needed to do. He would wait till he left the office first and then begin his journey. The two shook hands immediately and gave each other a brief hug. He thanked the doctor for his time who then thanked his patient as well. Canada’s Hero left the room changed. With a brief look around the room again he began to see things in a different light and for the first time a smile broke out across his face….. And he exited the room.
There are always times in our life when we must face adversity and we must rise above it. We must take the pain and the hurt and realize that each day we live is a gift. A lucky privilege that should never be forgotten or taken for granted. It was on that day… decades after he was born onto this earth…. That it all finally made sense. He had been wasting time. He had been worrying about foolishness, and THAT not his talent, but the worrying was what had caused him to stray. He pulled his blackberry sharply out of his pocket before he hopped in the Lexus. The first person he was calling wasn’t Elizabeth surprisingly, but it was Steven Graham, a newspaper reporter for the Toronto Times. He knew that Graham had been covering his story and he was ready to come clean, but more than that he was ready to tell the world this….
CHRISTIAN GOLD WAS GOING DOWN!
And there was NOTHING anyone could do about it.[/color] (To be continued in the next roleplay for the match…. Comments accepted and appreciated.)

Soon after the visit with Dr. Morgan a new sense of wellness swept under the feet and over the head of the man many liked to call Canada’s Hero. This depression, or what was left of it, was something that he no longer had to duck and hide from or attempt to push into the closet. It was out in the open for everyone to see and he knew that it was the only way to overcome it. After all this one thing was still clear, his number one contender’s match was only 24 hours away. On Monday night to mark the new and improved Crash TV Series Mr. Dustin Weaver would take on Christian Gold hoping to grab a title shot at the World Heavyweight Champion Hell. It would mark a big step on his road to recovery. It wouldn’t be the end, it wouldn’t be the beginning, but it would be another tough, important step.
Shortly after the meeting with Dr. Morgan Canada’s Hero had set up the interview with the Toronto Times. He knew this would be an interview that would bring everything out and “air out his dirty laundry” so to speak for the world to see. However, the recent editions of the newspapers and magazines had been full of speculation on his losses so he thought the truth would be the only way out. That interview was in just a few minutes. He kissed Elizabeth goodbye from bed as he looked up at the clock and saw that it was 10:31am. His interview started in 14 minutes so he would have to hurry.Dustin: Babe, I’m leaving for the interview. I will see you in about an hour.
Elizabeth: I love you!!! I am so proud of what you are doing.
Dustin: It’s nothing. Just the truth.Elizabeth looks up and smiles and kisses him one more time before he runs off through the house and jumps into the Lexus. The car spins its tires as it zooms away from the house and Dustin is looking at the clock realizing he is barely going to make the interview on time. On his way to the newspaper office he continued to spin ideas through his mind about what he would say. Would he tell them EVERYTHING? Or would he hold back the personal information? No, he MUST tell them every bit that they wanted to know. He and Dr. Morgan and even Elizabeth as he had spoke to her right after, had agreed that was the only way to get through this troubling time in his life. Finally he pulled up at the office of the Toronto Times and quickly shut off the car and ran inside.Waiting inside was the reporter Steven Graham who he had called the other day right after leaving the clinic. Graham greeted him politely with a handshake and a smile and two walked quietly into a back room in the office and Graham shut the door behind them as Canada’s Hero took a seat and Graham took one directly across from him. From the look in his eyes you could tell that Steven knew he had a big story on his hands, a sense of anxiousness, nervousness, had come upon him and Hero all at the same time and it was evident by the look in their eyes however neither one would admit it at this point. Steven: So Dustin, thanks for coming in today. I really do appreciate it and your willingness to get the truth out. From here on out I am going to record our conversation and I will let you know what will be in the paper before it is published. Thanks for your time.Dustin: Of course, and just to clear everything up you are getting the complete truth from me today. Don’t hold back on the question because I am ready to answer the hard ones, the ones I normally would deflect, I have let my guard down so I am ready to expose it all. Steven: Well my first question is why did you contact me a few days ago and where were you when you did?Dustin: Well that starts us off about right. I had just left Dr. Morgan’s Depression (Psychiatric) clinic and had my first meeting with him. I will admit that I have been feeling down the past few weeks after the events that have taken place here. Not only have I been feeling down but I have been feeling as if I am letting the whole country of Canada down, all of my fans, and everyone. I have just not been living up to the standards that I have set for myself.Steven: I see. Now when you contacted me you sounded upbeat and today even coming in here you sounded like a different person than the one we have seen the last few weeks. Who would you credit that to and is it true that you are feeling differently now?Dustin: It is definitely true. Not only am I feeling better than I have in the last two weeks but I am feeling better than I have in the past few years. All the things that have been dragging me down, the losses, the struggles, getting older, new beginnings, and just the stresses of everyday life now seem so small and meaningless to me. It is being happy and enjoying the struggles and the successes that is important. Without Dr. Morgan there to help me and being able to let out all of my frustrations I would have never realized this. Yes I had a problem and I still do and it is called depression, BUT I have taken the first step to end that and find a better life. Steven: To me that is a big thing. However, the word “depression” is one that gets hidden a lot in our society. No one wants to admit that they may be depressed, but the truth is a lot of us are walking around living this way. What do you have to say to those people?Dustin: Well I have thought about that. I am hoping to be a role model for these people. I am hoping that I will be someone that they can look up to and that they can respect. Someone who wasn’t afraid to admit that they were DEPRESSED and someone who can say that they overcame that and came out on top. Now I know that I still have a long way to go, but at the end of the day I expect that I will start a foundation for this. I care about this deeply and even in this short amount of time it has become a passion of mine.
Steven: It’s good to see you interested in giving back to your community. Ok now the tough questions. You know many will say that you are washed up, your depressed, and you have no chance this week against Christian Gold. How do you respond to that?Dustin: Well Steven what can I say? Gold beat my ass last week. Not only that he won the number one contender’s match. I don’t care about how I let my anger get the best of me and how I got distracted by Hell who shouldn’t have been the referee anyways. None of that bothers me. What bothers me is that I lost. However I KNOW that I am BETTER THAN GOLD. Gold has been through a lot of shit just like I have, but Christian Gold has yet to see the real Canada’s Hero. Yes he saw me the week after I lost to Ned, but he hasn’t seen the man that many have feared to face. Steven: Will he see that man this week? And are you looking forward to Caged Fury? Dustin: This week he will face the most motivated man in the world. There is nothing and I mean nothing that I want more than to win this match and continue on to Caged Fury to face the World Champion and again hold gold around my waist. The only gold that Christian Gold will be carrying is that of his last name and that’s the damn truth. He has continued to run his mouth about how much better he is and how I am too old and we all know none of that is true. He had one good night, I had one bad night, and we will stop it at that. Lightning doesn’t strike in the same place twice. We know this won’t happen again. Steven: Any last words for anyone before we finish this off?Dustin: Yea, two people. Gold, I am ready brother. Good luck to you this week. I hope you bring you’re best game and we give the fans a hell of a show, but in the end I will be the one leaving this week with the “#1 Contendership” in my possession. You had your shot, you should have gotten the PWR to let you walk without having to defend this, but you didn’t. You got cocky and arrogant and that will hurt you this week. Then there is Hell, to you, go home and polish and stare at your title because you have a few more weeks to hold it and then it is going to disappear. Take some pictures and enjoy your time with it because at Caged Fury it is MINE. You will see Steven…. You will all see. With that the two shake hands and Steven thanks Canada’s Hero for his time and for giving them both a lot of good material. Steven lets him know that he will be writing the article up for the Times tonight and it will be posted on Monday before the new CRASH airs on live television. Hero hands Steven an all access pass to the event if he would like to go and Steven says that he may just make the trip up there to see for himself. With that Graham opens the door and Weaver walks out and heads back to his car and jumps in. Before getting in his car however he pauses to look around and notice the sun glistening from the surrounding mountains and the buildings of the city. The world looks so beautiful, peaceful, a type of beauty that had rarely been noticed by him lately. He had taken too much for granted. Life was too precious, too fragile, and had to be enjoyed and preserved. He realized that now.He realized he had ONE chance….
To show Pure Wrestling Revival…
To show the world….
He was a changed man…..
And the title would be his……
To prove that his name really was and would always be….
