Bio: More unpredictable than the original Ticking Timebomb, Brian Pillman, himself, "The Living Legend" Matt Margera has done what no other wrestler could accomplish, and that's burn so many bridges that even Shane Douglas would question his actions. It all started innocently enough when Matt Margera claimed that he had looked up his family tree and discovered that Bam Margera was a distant cousin. Bam even appeared on telecasts of wrestling shows that Matt appeared on to confirm this, but many believe it's part of a publicity stunt.
Before looking up his "family tree," though, Matt began training at Skandor Akbar's wrestling school, training under the tutelege of, ironically enough, the Sports Nutz. It wasn't long before Matt would embark on one of the most controversial wrestling careers this side of Shawn Michaels and the late Brian Pillman. He first signed a short term deal with GWX, and quickly won that promotion's United States Title, only to throw the belt down and bolt on the company after one of the other wrestlers ran his mouth about close friends of Margera. Matt would then venture on to the WRF, where he was told that "a skate punk would never be a main event star." Knowing that he wouldn't get a fair opportunity, Matt left the WRF for UHW, where he vented his frustrations about the WRF, much like how Steve Austin vented his frustrations with WCW on ECW television. In UHW, Matt would get to know his wife, Wench. UHW has also been a place where Matt has sent students of his to hone their craft.
At the same time as joining UHW, Matt would join the NAWA, where he won his first ever World Championship. However, a misunderstanding blown out of proportion led to Matt shocking the world and showing up on WRF television with the NAWA World Championship belt. However, Matt would decide to part ways with the WRF and ventured off to PCW(Pennsylvania Championship Wrestling, not to be confused with the Texas indy promotion, Professional Championship Wrestling). He had been brought in as a fan favorite, but hardcore fans who remembered how he walked out of the NAWA which was being run at the time by Jim Hewlett(who by this point had a hand in running PCW) didn't seem to take too kindly to him. Matt would then bring in two graduates of the Going Sports Nutz Academy, "Purely Sexy" Devin Romo and Scott Modano, and along with his wife, Wench, they formed the most hated stable in PCW history, the Perfect World, inciting near riots wherever they went. Matt even named himself "The Living Legend," which was a cheap shot at Summer Sammartino-Rutherford, the granddaughter of the original "Living Legend," Bruno Sammartino. He would eventually win the company's top prize, the PCW Championship. However, the differences he and Jim Hewlett had behind the scenes at the NAWA would rear their ugly heads again as Hewlett wanted Matt to simply lay down for another wrestler, which Matt refused to do because he believed in his opponents having to earn a victory. According to numerous insiders, Matt had allegedly thrown the PCW Championship belt in Hewlett's face and stormed out of the PCW offices, never to be heard from again.
Accomplishments:
GWX United States Champion(1x)
NAWA World Champion(1x)
PCW Champion(1x)
Entrance Description: "Not Dancing, Wanna Know Why?" hits, and out from behind the curtain walka Matt Margera, who ignores the boos and catcalls of the fans. In his right hand, he carries a stick with a horse head on it(just like the one in the Brian Pillman picture found above), and his other hand is free for him to threaten ringside fans who egg him on. Matt enters the ring, then goes to one of the corners, climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and points at the fans with the stick he carries to the ring, sneering at the booing audience.
Preferred Match: Doesn't care what kind of match of match he's in, but Matt specializes in anything hardcore, ie street fight, deathmatch style, etc.
