Canada's Hero
RP #4
Roleplay 2 of 2 for PWR Crash #14
The cameras click on as the view shows the town of Fort Wayne, Indiana with a slick-black limousine pulling up into the driveway of the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. The limousine door opens and Dustin Weaver “Canada’s Hero” steps out and walks directly into the hotel lobby that is adjacent from the coliseum. In the lobby we see a mad frenzy of wrestling fanatics who have been waiting out all day for the vast array of superstars that have been entering and exiting from the hotel rooms. Canada’s Hero is set to do an interview with the PWR reporters and the media that have gathered in just a few minutes. He will speak on last week as well as how he feels after his return and what this week will hold for him and the rest of the federation. He has a young woman with him as well who he has not spoken about in the past few years but who we have been promised from insiders in the league that will be addressed and she will make her impact felt.
The cameras zoom in on Dustin Weaver “the Hero” as he takes a seat at the microphone with the young lady by his side as they are locked arm in arm. He lets go of their arm lock and kisses her on the cheek as he settles in for the media portion of the day.
Reporter: Mr. Hero, I have to ask you… who is this beautiful lady here beside you?
Canada’s Hero: Well, I wasn’t going to bring her along this time, but she can’t stay out of the action. This is Elizabeth. Many of you that have followed me in the past know who she is and know where she comes from. She, like me, is from Toronto and she has been alongside me through thick and thin through my years of wrestling. Yes we are together and yes we will continue to be.
Reporter: Married.
Canada’s Hero: *Looks over at Elizabeth and winks* Not quite, but it’s something that we will definitely be looking into in the future. However, lets get back to wrestling. That’s what I came here to do and that’s what I would like to talk about today if that’s alright with you.
Reporter: Your match last week. You got the win. Thoughts?
Canada’s Hero: Yes I did thanks for noticing. But the way it came about is completely and utterly uncalled for. Do you see me coming out here and interfering in matches? Absolutely not. I have more respect for wrestling and the environment and the fans than that. They wanted to see me make my return and they did, but did they see a fair match? No. Trevor Stone stuck his nose in my business. Business that he clearly did not belong in and for that he will pay. Would the match have changed any? Would the result have been different? Absolutely not. Either way Scorpio Cage would have been put in his place and would have remained flat on his back in the ring for the three count. However, I need know help. I am the Hero. I am here to do my business and that was not the way I envisioned beginning what I call “The comeback”.
Reporter: Well I see there’s some bad blood brewing. What about this week’s opponent?
Canada’s Hero: Yea speaking of that. What’s his name again?
Reporter: *Looks down at his paper* It appears that it is Steve Dave.
Canada’s Hero: Let me be honest with you and the thousands that will be at the Coliseum here in Fort Wayne, Indiana tomorrow. I do not care who he is, what his name is, where he’s from, what car he drives, or even what he looks like. The opponent is not important to me. The result is. I will go into the ring tomorrow night and I will do the same thing that I have done every match of my life and that is wrestle like it is my last. And from all the injuries, the falls, the blood, the sweat, the tears.... and the experience I have learned you never know when the last time you step into the ring will be. It may very well be tomorrow night.
Reporter: And Trevor Stone? Do you have any words for him?
Canada's Hero: **Glares towards the cameras and the reporter straight in the face**.... Trevor Stone.... Stay Away.... Otherwise I will get my redemption. I am not one that goes looking for enemies, but I am one that respects this sport and it's people like him that should forever be tormented. Those who came before us, who paved the way.... ahhh I'm not even going to waste my time on that guy. It's over with, done, i'm finished with it. I won the damn match.
Reporter: That you did. Well any last comments Mr. Hero before we let you go?
Canada's Hero: Bye. **Canada's Hero slams the mic down and picks up Elizabeth by the arm and they walk away. A disgusted look is on his face as he smirks at the reporters and heads to the elevator to go up to his room at the hotel.**
Inside of the hotel room we see Elizabeth look at Dustin Weaver the man not the wrestler with almost a scared look on her face.
Elizabeth: I haven't seen that anger from you in years. It scares me.
Canada's Hero: Elizabeth.... you know what this means to me. To us. To our future.
Elizabeth: I.... I know. I just....
Canada's Hero: Don't. Don't worry. You know I am going to be ok. Things are different this time. I am going to seek and destroy, but you know i'm still here for you.
Elizabeth: I know. I just don't want you to get hurt, but I trust you. So are you going to let me come to your matches?
Canada's Hero: Soon... but I have to take care of some business first this week so you can watch from here. Once I get done with that things should be safe for us.
Elizabeth: I trust you.
Canada's Hero: And soon it will all pay off. Our master plan is working. Our timing is perfect. Our life will work out the way we have always dreamed.....
With that Canada's Hero and Elizabeth embrace and the cameras fade out as he picks her up and she wraps her leg around his body and they close the bedroom door of the hotel. Canada's Hero seems to have a plan for the PWR. The secrets that this man hides are unparalleled by any other. The secrets of a haunting past, but the secrets of a planned future. A future that as uncertain as it may be is something he has always dreamed of. The question remains at what lengths will this man go to get what he wants. When will he decide to let us in on his past? One full of anger and betrayal and how soon until his future turns out the same way? The rage has set in, the beast has been unleashed, the Hero is back for his throne.
