"UnMasking Hell"
The scene opens with Eddie Stitchard standing in front of a black backdrop, wearing a black t-shirt with a white eXs logo on it. His long dark hair is handing down over a white bandana and he's just staring at the camera...
eXs - "....Generally when you see my face on camera it's at the beginning of some drawn out adventure which usually ends with me swearing alot and eventually kicking someone in the face, but today I'm gonna spare the story telling and the theatrics. Today I'm just going to stand here and tell each and every one of you the straight up honest to goodness truth. I'm going to provide you with the information that is necessary to understand why Eddie Stitchard is in PWR instead of other unnamed organizations."
Eddie scoffs a little laugh to himself...
eXs - "You see, it's a known fact that whenever I become a "free agent" once my current contract ends where ever I'm at, the bidding, begging and pleading begins from every CEO and GM in the business... lighting up my cell and my e-mail trying to figure out what it's gonna take for Eddie Stitchard to sign on the dotted line and immediately add the prestige and recognition to a fed like only I can accomplish. The moment I pop in backstage somewhere the comeback rumors begin to run wild. Like just recently, I dropped by an old place of employment for a chat with a few people and all of a sudden the rumors begin that I'm returning to the place and that I've recently been running around with a hood covering my head... just waiting to unveil myself to the world. Well honey pies, let me assure you all that if Eddie Stitchard is going to make a return anywhere, it wont be a mystery. I dont need to hide under a hood, I dont need mysterious mind games to get an advantage over people. Moreso, I damned well dont need to rely on some worn out generic gimmick like hiding under a hood and then randomly jumping someone from behind. If I'm going to pick a fight with someone I'm going to do it face to face and fist to fist, because I'm completely confident in my own abilities to be able to take on anyone in the world with the ending result being my foot pressing down on their throat."
"Thats the reason why Eddie Stitchard is here in PWR instead of elsewhere. PWR is fresh, it's new, it's starting with a clean slate where there is no politcal hierarchy. The sky is the limit here, because there's noone standing back... watching you climb the ladder... waiting for you to almost reach the top so they can push the legs out from under you and steal your thunder. Whats the point of trying to be successful if you know for a fact that in the end you're destined to be forced into failure no matter how hard you work or how amazing you look while doing it. I completely understand that when you're Eddie Stitchard there's a target tattoo'd on your back. There's always people out there looking to make a mark and make themselves look good, so whats the best way to do that? You find the best, and you find a way to overcome them. Most people will do it the right way. Most people will put in the time, improve with experience and eventually earn the shot to dethrown the best, others though... others will stop at nothing to get the job done. Cheat, steal, use political power to alter the rules and the results to your own liking.. it doesn't matter to these people how it's accomplished, because unlike normal people.. it doesn't bother them. It doesn't eat them from the inside out that they screwed someone else over to get to where they are. Because their egos are so over inflated that they actually begin to believe their own lies. They actually think that their success is the result of them actually being better than who they've defeated. Once this process has started, it never ends. It doesn't end until people begin revolt, until people see the through the bullshit and rebel against it. "
"...That is what PWR is. It's a collection of those who've seen through the poluted, poisoned and tainted lineage that has become of some of the places we all used to call home. Places where reality is so far gone that there's no hope in ever recovering it. We've come together and formed a Pure Revival of what wrestling should truely be about.... competition. In PWR skill and precision is rewarded and recognized. Egos are checked at the door and as soon as the door is closed behind those egos there's someone there to stomp them into the cement. Once you're in PWR it isn't the biggest ego thats at the top of the mountain, the PWR world champion will be just that... he will be the best in the world at what he does... and that is wrestle. He wont be the best at wearing expensive sunglasses and spewing repetitive drawn out promos. He wont be the best at changing his name every 3 weeks, retiring 29 times and being the most overrated human being in the history of civilization. I could go on and on about what the PWR champion wont be... but I'll stop there and tell you exactly who the PWR champion will be...."
Eddie points up at his own chin....
"....Eddie Stitchard."
"Thats right, and you all know it. When all the bullshit is left at the door, and it's carved down to being skill versus skill in a wrestling ring... I am the best in the world and there is noone that can go at my level. I've dropped the best, ended careers and become one of the most recognizable faces this industry has ever known. And this week I'm put up against a guy by the name of "Hell". Hell... no... not the place... a guy... apparently named after the place... which obviously makes him the epitomy of evil. What I think, is that it's just a case of putting a spiked collar on a chihuahua. All it is is a mask to cover up the fact that Hell is nothing more than a fluffy cuddly teddy bear. He can play games with death all he wants, but if the time were to actually come around when Hell were faced with imminent death, he'd break down like a bitch and cry until he passed out."
"...So with that stated, you may see a grown man cry this weekend, because Hell, there aint no games with Eddie Stitchard. Once a match with me is over you dont just magically recover from your injuries and go out for a jog. Hell is about to stand face to face with a something which he cannot overcome and WILL not overcome. He can have all the dreams and fantasies about becoming PWR world champion that he wants, but just as dreams and fantasies are... it's all fiction because Hell is about to wake up from his little dream... and by the time he does..."
"....The belt will already be around my waist."
Without another word, Eddie just walks off camera... ending the interview...
