Al Walters-"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the inaugural PPV presented by the PWR! Inaugural Brawl!"
David Saturn-"Tonight an injured Lance Invictus will gut it out in an attempt to defeat Silvio Megala for the world title."
"Also in what promises to be a violent bout Tracy Adkins will face his arch rival Hell. A couple of weeks ago Adkins and Stone left Hell laid out in the ring. Can Adkins finally score a win over Hell tonight in the steel chain match?"
"Coming up first is the tag match with the unusual team of Ned and RoadRage taking on Robert Carr and Trevor Stone. Both men of course have formed an alliance with Tracy Adkins."
In the parking lot we see a long limo pulling up to the arena.
"That must be the world champion Silvio Megala arriving."
"No I saw Megala earlier. Still he's not the only guy who travels by limo. Maybe its just one of the VIPS? Anyway lets go to our opening bout!"
ROBERT CARR & TREVOR STONE V NAUGHTY NED & ROADRAGE
Ding, ding, ding...
The music for Carr and Stone plays as they make their way to the ring.
"This is the first time they have teamed together but no doubt Tracy Adkins has been putting them through a tough regime."
"No doubt about that. I bet his training camp is torture. Probably as bad as a concentration camp."
Carr curses at the crowd as he enters the ring. Carr is a serious competitor but clearly has taken the Ned situation far too seriously in recent weeks even attempting to file sexual harassment charges against him. Carr claps Trevor Stone as he enters the ring obviously he has some respect for Stone.
"How did the harassment charges go?"
"They got thrown out. Carr gestured at Ned in one of their matches to come towards him and Ned suggested Carr was coming onto him. Not sure about that but Carr's charges were a joke. Carr needs to take things a little less seriously. He's a miserable bastard really."
The music for Ned then plays and he immediately begins blowing kisses at Carr who looks enraged. Ned rubs himself as the crowd begin a “Carr sucks” chant. Carr yells that he doesn’t suck but Ned makes a sexual gesture stating Carr does indeed suck.
"Well I'm glad that gesture hasn't been done on Crash TV yet. Good thing this is PPV!"
"I've seen worse don't be such a prude Walters. Here comes RoadRage who has zero in common with Ned. The common bond they share is defeating the henchmen of Tracy Adkins."
RoadRage certainly has had his issues with Stone including being nailed with a baseball bat by him weeks back. RoadRage certainly appears to be taking the match more seriously than Ned as Stone and Carr look at him with worried expressions. Carr slowly enters the ring as Ned appears to be starting the match. RoadRage then suddenly tags himself in which Ned doesn’t look thrilled about but dosen’t complain.
"Carr looks pleased with RoadRage probably being the first serious opponent he has had since arriving in PWR."
"Well he won't be pleased if RoadRage gives him a good old fashioned ass kicking. Then he would be wishing for Ned to be in there with him. Wait Carr just tagged Stone...is he a chicken as well as a misery guts?"
Suddenly Carr tags Stone who doesn’t appear thrilled either but he slowly enters the ring. He starts trading fists with RoadRage which RoadRage gets the better of. Stone reverses an attempted irish whip and goes for armdrag takedown. RoadRage blocks and hit’s a short arm clothesline. RoadRage then goes to nail Carr who quickly leaps off the apron to avoid. Stone begins punching RoadRage but RoadRage connects with a kick to the head. Cover by RoadRage…1,2...and Stone kicks out. RoadRage then tags in Ned who goes to whip Stone off the ropes. Stone reverses and as Ned rebounds he hits a clothesline. He then smiles at Carr who curses at him.
"Ned already taunting Carr who simply despises everything Ned stands for."
"I felt some sympathy for Carr with his first match against Ned not being the serious outing he wanted. However since then Carr has proven himself to be a joke filing ridiculous sexual harassment charges against Ned."
Stone is back on his feet and Ned suddenly nails him with a kick. Stone gets right back up and as Ned gestures at Carr again Stone nails Ned in the back. Stone tags in Carr who charges at Ned but Ned nails him with a right hand. Carr staggers as Ned begins rubbing himself before whipping Carr off the ropes. Ned misses a big boot and as Carr rebounds off the other side Ned hits him with an elbow also ensuring to brush his butt against Carr. He does the same to Stone who charges at him and Ned then clothesline him to the outside. Ned sweeps Carr’s legs and rubs himself right in front of him. Ned then propels him towards the ropes. Carr collides with Stone on the apron. Both men fall to the floor.
"Great move there by Naughty Ned!"
"He knows how to wrestle. Don't think Ned can't get it done in the ring. His mind games if they are just that make him even more dangerous."
RoadRage doesn’t waste time throwing Carr back into the ring. Ned then starts off the 10 punch series. On the 5th punch he begins to rub himself against Carr but Carr kicks him hard in the ribs. Carr then hits a dropkick and goes for the cover..1,2 and Ned kicks out. Carr then chokes Ned over the bottom rope and swears at him. The referee forces a break and Carr then hit’s a running knee nailing Ned in the back of the head. He then tags in Stone who punches Ned and hit’s a Russian leg sweep. 1,2...and Ned kicks out. Stone chokes Ned and tags in Carr again. The crowd chant for RoadRage who watches on the apron in frustration.
"When RoadRage gets that tag he is going to explode!"
"He has a great engine does RoadRage. He lives up to his name sometimes he is a little bit too explosive and possibly predictable in his attacks."
Right hands by Carr who then charges off the ropes. Ned however nails him with a big clothesline. Both men are down as Ned slowly crawls towards RoadRage. Stone however rushes in and prevents it charging at RoadRage and punching him in the face knocking him off the apron. Carr and Ned then pull Ned back into their corner as RoadRage looks frustrated trying to get past the referee who has blocked him from entering. Carr officially tags Stone in who drives his knee into Ned’s face. Whip off the ropes and Stone comes up short with a dropkick. Ned quickly goes for a bridge like pin…1,2...and Stone kicks out.
"Stone and Adkins left Hell laying a couple of weeks ago. Stone has certainly been improving under the tuition of Adkins."
"He's a psychopath. I don't think Carr is psycho he's just an insufferable fool. Adkins and Stone belong in an asylum somewhere."
Powerslam by Ned as both men try to make a tag. Stone is closer to his corner and tags in Carr. As Ned gets close to RoadRage he is elbow dropped by Carr. As Carr lifts Ned up he grabs the leg setting up for a spinning heel kick. Ned hit’s a neck breaker to counter and then he makes the tag to RoadRage! Right hands by RoadRage, whips Carr off the ropes and hit’s a dropkick. Whip off the ropes again, RoadRage misses a clothesline but then connects with a cross body on the rebound. Stone enters the ring and RoadRage decks him with a right hand. The distraction almost allows Carr an advantage but RoadRage quickly knees him in the ribs.
"Scissors kick by RoadRage...just comes up short!"
"What a spinebuster though. RoadRage has explosive reactions occasionally he over does it though and leaves himself vulnerable to attack. So far though he has been unstoppable. There's only so far he can go though as Hell is definitely number 1 in their alliance. He has always served Hell as his backup number 2 and seems content with that. Adkins might not allow Carr or Stone to break through that glass ceiling. Will they be so content with that?"
RoadRage quickly goes for a scissors kick but misses. He does however have more success with a spine buster! 1,2...and Carr kicks out. Whip attempt by Roadrage is reversed and RoadRage is sent into the corner. RoadRage avoids a Carr charge with a leapfrog and hit’s a rollup! 1,2...and Carr kicks out! Another whip attempt is reversed by Carr but RoadRage connects with a kick to the face as he rebounds. Carr stays on his feet, RoadRage charges but gets his leg caught over the top rope. Stone comes in without making a tag and they attempt a doubleteam. RoadRage however takes out both men with a flying clothesline. Ned tagged himself in as RoadRage brushed against the ropes. Ned charges in and hit’s a running bulldog on both men.
"Great move there by Naughty Ned!"
"Stone is perched on the top and Stone definitely won't enjoy that!"
He then perches Stone on the top rope and for the first time Stone is subjected to a rude gesture. Instead of a suplex Ned drops Stone painfully on the top rope. Carr charges but Ned hit’s a drop toe hold and Carr lands on Stone in a very painful position increasing Stone’s discomfort! Rollup by Ned…1,2...and Carr kicks out! Ned goes for a suplex but Carr blocks landing on his feet. Carr then sweeps Ned’s legs and applies a boston crab. RoadRage enters the ring and kicks Carr in the head breaking it up.
"The referee is losing control here..."
"Stone of course has entered the ring enough times so its only fair RoadRage should do the same while not being the legal man."
RoadRage then hit’s a scissors kick on Carr and Ned goes for the cover. 1,2 and Stone breaks up the pin pulling Ned to the outside. Stone begins punching Ned but RoadRage goes back into the ring, charges off the ropes and nails Stone with a baseball slide. Carr is back to his feet and RoadRage climbs to the tope rope and hits him with a missile dropkick. Stone then comes in charging at RoadRage but RoadRage sidesteps and throws him over the tope. The referee has lost control of this match. Ned and Carr are supposed to be the legal men. Carr goes for a handspring elbow of the ropes but Ned lifts the middles rope causing Carr to trip and fall flat on his face.
"Carr falls flat on his face!"
"The usual position Ned has left him in over the last few weeks!"
Carr gets back up quickly and elevates RoadRage over the top rope as he charges at him. Both legal men are now alone in the ring. Bulldog by Ned and he makes the cover…1,2...and Stone from the outside puts Carr’s foot on the ropes stopping the count. RoadRage throws Stone into the front row and both men brawl in the crowd. Ned begins playing to the crowd and Carr hits him with a bulldog. Carr then removes the turnbuckle padding as the referee is distracted by RoadRage and Stone brawling in the crowd. Carr then goes to whip Ned into the exposed padding. Unfortunately for Carr it is reversed y Ned and he hits the exposed buckle! Ned then hit’s a Lou Thesz press placing his lower regions close to Carr’s face. Ned rubs himself against Carr as the referee makes the cover! 1,2...3!
"Ned beats Carr again!"
"Carr will be furious! Excellent!"
The winners of this bout at 9:18...RoadRage...and Naughty...NED!!!
RoadRage silently makes his way backstage as Ned celebrates on the ramp. The cameras follow Stone and Carr as they make their way up the ring. The cameras show Adkins packing backstage getting ready for his chain match. He watches the monitor in anger. As Carr and Stone enter the ring Adkins begins hitting Carr with right hands presumably for losing to Ned. Adkins hands the cane to Stone and orders him to punish Carr. Adkins leaves the room and begins making his way to the ring. We hear cracks of the cane and Carr yelling in pain behind the closed door.
"Well Adkins is certainly tough on them isn't he?"
"Adkins has brainwashed those men. They live only to serve him at the moment. When he returns backstage I can only imagine he will give Carr further punishment. That is if he can still walk after Hell is finished with him!"
STEEL CHAIN MATCH
HELL VS TRACY ADKINS
"Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a chain match! Both men will each be attached to a steel chain by the official. Introducing first...Tracy...ADKINS!"
Tracy makes his way to the ring cursing and yelling at the crowd like a maniac.
"His opponent weighing in at 399 pounds and standing at 7,2...HELL!!!"
"Here comes Hell. He said his feud will never be over with Adkins..."
"It might be if he cripples Adkins here tonight. Hell won't be trying any of his technical wrestling in this match. This is about pure brutality."
Hell with chain in hand wastes no time in making his way to the ring. Hell slides under the bottom rope and swings the chain wildly in the direction of Adkins. Perhaps wisely Adkins vacates the ring and goes halfway up the ramp. Adkins curses at Hell and as he slowly tries to enter the ring Hell swings the chain at him again. Adkins circles the ring seemingly not prepared but then reaches down under the apron and pulls out his own chain. Adkins charges at Hell and nails him in the head with the wrapped up chain. Hell drops to his knees.
"Hell let his guard down for a moment there and Adkins takes advantage..."
"Come on ref attach the chain to both of them!"
Adkins nails Hell again with the chain then begins to twist Hell’s arm. Both men are supposed to be attached to each other but this hasn’t happened yet. Perhaps Adkins is trying to injure the arm before that happens. Hell of course at his size could be dominant in this type of matchup more so than a regular singles bout. He has the power to drag Tracy around at will. Adkins begins ramming Hell’s arm into the apron then takes it and rams it into the ringpost. Adkins then rams Hell’s hands into the step then nails him with a chair across the back. This is no DQ and Adkins then whacks Hell’s arm with the chair. Adkins then under pressure from the referee finally attaches the chain to Hell’s apparently injured arm.
"Hell's arm looks to be injured...finally the referee attaches that chain."
"About time!"
With the chain match rule enforced now Adkins will be a lot more confident trying to drag Hell around the ring with the big man’s arm injured. Hell out of nowhere however begins rallying back with punches and then nails Adkins in the back with the chain. Adkins then responds with a low blow and begins kicking Hell on the ground. Adkins then wraps the chain round the top rope and goes to the outside. Adkins yanks on the chain pulling Hell forward towards the ropes and stretching his injured arm. Tracy climbs to the top rope and hit’s a double axe handle…1,2...and Hell kicks out. Adkins then showing some strength pulls Hell forward and rams his arm into the top turnbuckle.
"Adkins certainly is stronger than he looks."
"He's stronger than the average man by far but it takes some effort moving Hell like that. I guess you can do many things while consumed with the level of hatred Adkins has for Hell."
Adkins pulls Hell to the outside and violently pulls the chain sending Hell flying forward into the ring steps. Adkins rams Hell face first into the steps and then lashes Hell across the back with the chain. The chain isn’t just keeping the men tied together but it can also be used as a weapon. Adkins grabs a chair as Hell slides into the ring. Suddenly Hell violently pulls the chain and Adkins hit’s the chair face first. Probably Adkins shouldn’t have raised the chair in front of his face as that ultimately gave Hell the chance to do that. Adkins is busted open and Hell goes to the outside and rams Adkins face first into the steel steps. He then rams the chain into the throat of Adkins.
"Ouch that's gonna mess up the vocal chords!"
"I'm sure nobody would be too devastated if Adkins lost the ability to speak. The only language he knows is violence."
Hell throws Adkins into the ring. Adkins stares at him with a crazed look on his face and curses. Hell begins choking him with his boot then wraps the chain round Adkins face. Adkins screams in pain and Hell then rams him into the turnbuckle. Hell then delivers a clothesline and we are seeing how dominant Hell can be while tied to an opponent. Hell then takes Tracy to the outside and then goes back into the ring. Hell wraps the chain round Adkins necks then pulls him up onto the apron. Adkins is basically hanging from the apron and might have been choked out. Hell goes to the outside and whacks Adkins with the chain before nailing him with a right hand.
"Hell is totally dominant here and climbs to the top rope."
"Wait Adkins just pulled that chain and Hell comes crashing down! This is a classic case of David vs Goliath. Can Adkins possibly pull this one off and beat the colossus?"
Adkins however suddenly yanks the chain and pulls Hell off the top rope. Hell crashes to the mat as Adkins stomps him. Adkins takes Hell to the outside and before we see his intentions Hell nails him with a right hand. He then nails him with another right sending Tracy over the barricade and into the front row. Adkins then tries to pull Hell over the railing which he doesn’t quite manage. Hell however does hit the barricade hard. Adkins climbs onto the barrier but that was a big mistake as Hell slams him to the ground. Hell takes Adkins back into the ring and whips him off the ropes. Adkins however hits Hell with a face buster.
"Hell's facial features will be messed up there..."
"He's hardly going to be a centrefold pin up anytime soon so I doubt that is any real concern to Hell."
Clothesline by Adkins using the chain. Both men take a breather and Hell then attempts a clothesline with Adkins ducks. Adkins hit’s a low blow and begins to set up for the DECAPITATOR. Hell powers out shoving Adkins to the mat. As Adkins gets to his feet the chain is between his legs. Hell yanks it upwards giving Tracy a painful and unique low blow. Adkins writhers on the mat and as he gets up Hell nails him in the head with the chain. Hell goes to the top rope again and unlike earlier hit’s a double axe handle with the chain. Hell then lifts Adkins up and hit’s the CHOKESLAM! Suddenly before Hell can make the cover Trevor Stone enters the ring.
"Chokeslam by Hell...this one is over!"
"Wait a moment...here comes Trevor Stone! I guess he has finished caning Carr and now he's here to save his boss!"
Hell sees him coming and hits Stone with a big boot. Hell throws Stone over the top rope. Adkins however comes up from behind and hits another low blow. Stone grabs a steel chair from ringside. Hell staggers to his feet but Stone whacks him in the back of the head with the chair. Hell staggers round and Adkins nails Hell with the DECAPITATOR!!! Adkins makes the cover…1,2...3!!!
The winner of this bout at 8:10, by pinfall...Tracy...ADKINS!!!
"Adkins wins!"
"What a travesty of justice! I know it was no holds barred but Adkins stole this one!"
Referees come down and prevent Stone and Adkins from repeating what they did to Hell a couple of weeks back. Hell staggers to his feet and tries to rip up the ringpost in a rage. Hell begins attacking the security and follows Stone and Adkins as they hightail it backstage.
We see footage backstage of Adkins and Stone getting into their car. They drive off as Carr approaches just leaving him there. Carr turns round and walks right into Hell. He lifts up Carr and CHOKESLAMS him onto the concrete! Hell then picks Carr up and throws him face first through a windshield! Hell then smashes a car window and opens the door from the inside. He steals the car and drives off giving chase to Stone and Adkins!
"Not been a good night for Robert Carr has it? First he gets booked with Ned now he has the misfortune to come across an enraged 7 footer like Hell!"
"Carr felt Hell's wrath. I'm sure he will still be teaming with Stone and Adkins but Tracy won't tolerate failure. Carr has been punished here tonight and Adkins will ensure he has a lot of making up to do. He did the same to Stone when he failed him after all so Carr is no different!"
"Lets go to our main event! Lance Invictus challenges Silvio Megala for the PWR Championship!"
The camera pans in on the limo we saw earlier. It is still in the parking lot. PWR officials are talking to someone through the window. The scene cuts back to the arena...
PWR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
SILVIO MEGALA VS LANCE INVICTUS
"Ladies and gentlemen the following bout is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, the champion, from Milan, Italy...he weighs in at 267 pounds and stands at 6,4...he is the billion dollar emperor...Silvio...MEGALA!!!"
Megala has a look of confidence on his face and for once it isn’t completely false.
"His opponent, from Seaside Heights, NJ...he stands at 6,3 and weighs in tonight at 263 pounds...ladies and gentlemen please welcome the challenger...he is the lord of war...Lance INVICTUS!"
"For sure he has been through the wars over the last few weeks. Left laying by Megala after the first title match and then Hell attacked him after losing to Invictus."
The music for Invictus begins and he strides to the ring showing no sign of the pain he must be enduring with his neck and back condition. The crowd cheer Lance presumably out of respect for his willingness to put in a gutsy display here tonight. Yes he is getting a title shot but he could be risking serious injury. Of course that is always the case when stepping into a wrestling ring but tonight the risk for Lance Invictus is much greater. Megala starts to mock Lance in the ring holding his neck and back as if he’s in pain.
"Lance just keeps a straight face though he must be furious."
"Obvious he knows in his condition he has to fight with intelligence not just fly into the ring in a rage. Hard not to with Megala's ridiculous mockery of Invictus being injured here."
Lance stops by the timekeepers table and looks at the belt. He then picks it up which Megala doesn’t look very happy about. Megala turns round to yell at the referee…but there isn’t one in the ring yet. Lance then enters the ring not diverting his glance away from Megala. Both men look round wondering where the hell the referee has got to.
"Where's the referee..."
"Hell attacked most of them earlier but surely there's someone left? He didn't hit every last one of them...wait a moment! OH MY GOD!!!"
"You know my name" by Chris Cornell starts playing and Josh Mercer appears on the ramp.
"Well im sorry to disrupt this match but unlike Silvio's employees, I dont get involved after the match has begun because as far as I'm aware it hasnt rung yet."
"Anyway I have just got off the phone with Luke John and he has granted me permission to do one thing tonight."
Mercer walks behind the curtains and emerges with a bag, he opens the bag and pulls out a black and white striped shirt.
"Thats a PWR Referee's shirt!"
Mercer proceeds to put on the shirt
"Thats right Silvio. Tonight I am the special guest referee for tonights match."
Josh makes his way down to the ring with a big smile on his face. Mercer climbs into the ring and stares at both participants. Megala is incensed with rage and screams in Mercer’s face. Invictus just shrugs his shoulders not really bothered who the official is. Mercer smirks at Silvio and turns to ringside…
"RING THE BELL!"
"Look at Megala he is incensed!"
"Josh Mercer several weeks ago took Neal Steal hostage and his pirate associates held one of Megala's ships ransom for 50 million! I'm sure Mercer got a good cut from that!"
"Why has Luke John made Mercer referee for this match though?"
"Well I don't think we will get our answers tonight...Megala looks like he's on the verge of collapse. Invictus it seems does not care but he knows his chances are higher. Mercer won't allow Megala to get away with any cheating. I hope he calls the match fairly out of respect for the title but I'm not so sure he will. Josh Mercer hates Silvio Megala and will be enjoying every moment of this..."
"Mercer searches Megala for foreign objects infuriating Silvio further though knowing Silvio any good referee would search him for hidden weapons."
Mercer then checks on Lance showing that he might just be prepared to call this match down the middle.
"Psychologically Mercer perhaps has damaged Silvio to the extent he won't be able to function tonight."
"He certainly couldn’t have done more to ruin Silvio’s good mood tonight and over the past week."
Both men circle and finally lock up…
Both men grapple looking for position. Lance backs Megala into the corner and attempts to choke him. Mercer for now calling the match fairly. Megala looks confused not believing for a second Mercer may call this fairly. Silvio curses at Josh and then locks up with Lance again. Megala applies a quick takedown and Invictus reverses. Megala grabs the ropes before Lance can apply anything and Mercer breaks it up again. Both men are back up and Silvio talks some trash to Invictus. Some words are exchanged with Invictus using some choice phrases of his own.
"Invictus isn’t being as aggressive as usual though there is no doubt if he was 100% he would unleash an all out assault on Silvio."
"Instead he has to be careful as he was in their initial match as that was the first time they had wrestled. He knows Megala could get him into all sorts of vulnerable positions though Lance claimed this past week he would escape the figure 4 if locked in it."
Megala twists on Invictus arm and snamares him to the mat obviously hoping to injure his neck and back further. Invictus springs right up and grabs Megala by the arm. Lance twists on the arm then elbows Silvio in the ribs. Snapmare by Lance and he lifts his knee dropping it into Megala’s ribs. Invictus then works on the arm as Megala forces his way to his feet. Invictus yanks on Megala’a hair which is ignored by Mercer. This might be on purpose or due to Mercer’s inexperience as an official. Megala twists the arm again until Megala whips Lance off the ropes. Lance ducks a clothesline and rebounds, leapfrog by Megala and as Invictus rebounds again Megala hits a drop toe hold.
"These men can wrestle. Invictus is more of a brawler but needs to take a very conservative approach despite his hatred."
"Invictus has a temper though. At some point he might get enraged and make a mistake. Megala will be looking for that and he has managed to get over Mercer being here. At least so far but he has no choice really to deal with it while defending the title."
Invictus quickly responds before Megala can apply a hold. He quickly applies a armbar as Mercer asks Megala if he wants to submit. Megala says no and it probably would be quite humiliating to submit to an armbar. Invictus increases the pressure as Megala manages to force himself up to his feet. Megala aims a elbow at Lance which barely connects. Megala then suddenly reverses the hold but Lance charges and propels Megala forward through the ropes and to the outside.
"Mercer does not use a fast count of course if at any stage he starts to take sides he is fully aware a countout would see Megala retain."
"Lets judge Mercer on his actions. Part of me would love to see him screw Megala over but that would be stooping to Silvio's level. Plus I don't think a man as proud as Lance Invictus would want to win the title that way."
Silvio climbs back onto the apron and Invictus pulls him back over the ropes. Armbar applied by Invictus who is obviously trying to wear Megala down while avoiding being placed in any holds himself. In his condition that is wise though at some stage it is almost inevitable he will have some pressure hold placed on his neck and back area. Megala shoves Invictus away, Lance charges off the ropes. Megala goes for a neck breaker which Lance quickly avoids pushing Megala into the ropes. Megala elbows Lance in the face but Lance quickly hit’s a flying body press! 1,2...and Megala kicks out.
"That was a fair count by Mercer."
"Megala claiming otherwise though anyone can see that was totally fair. Mercer is timing his counts well..."
Megala then clothesline Lance over the ropes and then yells at Mercer claiming it was a fast count. Foolishly he takes his eyes off Invictus while walking close to the apron. Invictus climbs up and reaches out punching Silvio in the ribs. Invictus then dives over the ropes and hit’s a small package…1,2...and Megala kicks out. Both men are up quickly and Megala charges forward. Armdrag takedown by Invictus who is doing a good job controlling the pace of this match. As Megala tries to break free Invictus hits another arm drag takedown into an armbar. Megala forces his way back up and then pokes Invictus in the eye.
"Mercer fails to see it or if he did he probably knows a eye poke isn’t exactly rare."
"Mercer has done eye pokes in his matches. I think he will let something like that go. It's not much different to a cosed fist really..."
Still it certainly allows Megala to break free and he punches Invictus in the jaw. Megala elbows Lance in the head. He then kicks Lance in the ribs leaving Invictus short of breath as anyone would be when being kicked in the ribs. Silvio simulates smoking a cigar then starts mockingly coughing and spluttering. Megala then goes to whip Invictus into the ropes, Invictus reverses probably being given time to regain his breath after Silvio wasted time mocking him. Silvio charges off the ropes, blocks a arm drag takedown. Invictus ducks a short arm clothesline and hits one of his own…1,2...and Silvio kicks out. Invictus goes back to working on the arm.
"Megala almost got caught there..."
"What an idiot Megala is mocking Invictus for his smoking. Megala finds fault in everything. What's wrong with smoking? If he wants to smoke then he can..."
"Well I can't help but agree with Megala criticising Lance for smoking in the pyro area..."
"Well Invictus does have his faults. It would be a disaster if one of his cigars blew up the pyro. Invictus is a man though and he fights like a real man should. He deserves respect for that and the fans are cheering him whether he wants it or not. I think deep down Invictus probably appreciates the support but he isn't at that point in his career or life where he will acknowledge it."
Megala moans trying to break free of the hold. Megala forces himself to his feet and tries to grab the ropes. Invictus pulls him away but Megala forces him back first into the ropes. Irish whip by Megala but Invictus hits a shoulder charge. Invictus charges off the ropes, Megala drops down, Invictus charges back, leapfrog by Megala and as Lance charges back Megala hits a stun gun dropping Lance neck first across the ropes. Invictus holds his neck as Megala takes a quick breather holding the arm Invictus has constantly targeted. Megala pulls Lance to his feet and tries to ram him into the turnbuckle. Invictus blocks and punches Silvio in the ribs. Punches by Lance in the corner but Megala reverses then whips Lance into the opposite corner.
"Oh wait Lance just lost it! We wondered whether that would happen..."
"Invictus has done a good job controlling the pace thus far but there’s no doubt he would like to kill Megala. In that moment though he briefly forgot his gameplan in a moment of fury."
Lance reverses and charges at Megala in the corner in a sudden burst of rage. Megala dodges and Lance hits his shoulder against the ringpost. Big mistake perhaps by Invictus who falls with his arm precariously stuck between the post and steel steps. He may have dislocated his shoulder there and no doubt Megala will go to work on it. Instead Megala wastes time taunting the crowd. He then makes his way over to Lance and hit’s a shoulder breaker. Megala begins to ground and pound Invictus with a flurry of punches.
"Crowd are really enraged with Megala here..."
"He's scum. No real gentleman which he claims he is would threaten to cripple another human being."
"Hell and Adkins have though? To each other several times..."
"Adkins is a psycho and Hell isn't exactly a decent human being. They make no secret of that though Hell at least is capable of feeling love for someone and he cares about his daughter. Megala puts on this respectable front but he's just as psychotic and violent as either of them are..."
Mercer intervenes as Megala continues to pummel Invictus. Silvio yells at him even though Mercer was simply doing what any official would do. Stomp by Megala as Invictus tries to get to his feet. Megala pulls him up the way up then whips him hard into the turnbuckle. Lance falls back as Megala rolls him up…1,2...and Invictus kicks out. Chinlock applied by Megala as Mercer checks to see whether Invictus is being choked out. Invictus tries to fight up to his feet showing some sign of strength despite his condition. Megala forces his back down to the mat. Megala lifts his knee dropping it into the face of Invictus. He apples a headlock and appears to be choking Lance. Mercer fails to spot it and Lance then tries to fight back up to his feet again.
"Mercer is inexperienced he did not see the choke there..."
"This is an excellent match. Invictus despite how he must feels looks nothing less than 100%. Anybody who did not see the buildup to this match would have no idea Invictus is injured. He is a very gutsy, tough individual..."
Shots to the ribs by Invictus who finally breaks the hold. Invictus charges off the ropes but Megala hits him with a pinpoint dropkick right on the chin. Right back to square one for Invictus but instead of applying another hold Megala goes for a cover…1,2...and Invictus kicks out. Megala yells at Mercer accusing him of a slow count again. It certainly looked fair but Megala obviously is still paranoid about Mercer screwing him at some point. Backbreaker by Megala who goes for the cover and Invictus shows his toughness by kicking out despite his back injuries.
"Side headlock again spplied by Megala as the crowd rally behind Invictus urging him on."
"Not that it is probably making a difference to Lance there’s no doubt he is fighting this battle purely for himself. He could care less whether the crowd want him to beat Silvio but whether Lance likes it or not the crowd are on his side. Maybe deep down as I said earlier he might appreciate it..."
Lance fights up to his feet and hits several elbows breaking free. Lance charges off the ropes, ducks a clothesline and as he rebounds again Invictus hit’s a neck breaker! Poetic justice if Invictus could give Megala a neck injury. Both men are down and struggle back to their feet. Right hand by Silvio knocking Lance back down. Stomp to the head followed up by another but Lance is refusing to slow down. Megala then applies another headlock and Mercer checks to see whether Lance is still conscious. Lance manages to force his way back to his feet and then charges backing Silvio into the corner.
"Lance drives his head into Silvio’s ribs perhaps rather foolishly using his head as a weapon considering his neck condition."
"Lance knows his neck better than anyone I guess..."
More shots by Lance then he goes to whip Silvio into the opposite corner. Silvio reverses whipping Invictus into the corner. Megala charges but Invictus raises his feet catching Silvio in the face. Lance then hit’s a bulldog before climbing to the top rope. Lance goes for a elbow drop but misses. Both men are down and Silvio crawls over to make a cover. 1,2...and Invictus kicks out. Megala curses in anger and pulls Lance to his feet. Megala yells at Mercer again but Invictus suddenly hit’s a small package! 1,2...and Megala barely escapes. Megala then punches Lance who is a little slower getting to his feet. Megala backs Lance into the corner then whips him into the opposite turnbuckle. Invictus then hit’s a backbreaker before climbing to the top rope and hitting the elbow! 1,2...and Megala kicks out something Hell wasn’t even able to do in his recent match with Invictus. This is a world title match though and wrestlers can muster up that xtra bit of strength when in most cases they couldn’t, Invictus then places Megala on the tope rope and hit’s a superplex!
"Invictus can’t have helped himself doing that in his condition but he wants the title so bad."
"Invictus with the cover…1,2 and Megala kicks out!"
Invictus pulls Megala back up and Silvio swings wildly at him. Invictus ducks and applies a sleeper hold but Megala backs him into the corner breaking loose. Megala goes for a big boot but Invictus blocks grabbing hold of Megala’s foot. Invictus spins round and goes for a back drop but Silvio lands on his feet. Invictus quickly spins Megala round but Megala reverses again before sending Lance through the middle ropes and to the outside. Lance can’t really be in good shape taking a bump like that in his condition. Mercer starts the count as Megala rolls to the outside. Megala probably should have looked for a countout victory there. Megala shoves Lance hard back first into the ringpost.
"Megala will be happy to take a countout..."
"When Megala is frustrated he stoops to any level of cheating. Mercer needs to look out for that. He knows Silvio as well as anyone."
Megala goes back into the ring but goes outside as he sees Lance getting up. Megala then slams Lance on the mats before rolling him back into the ring. "Megala simply can’t accept that Lance has had the guts to keep kicking out and is blaming everything on Mercer."
"Megala better look out!"
Megala foolishly takes his eyes off Lance who is back to his feet! Rollup by Invictus! 1,2...and Silvio just escapes! Megala immediately hit’s a big boot as both men get to their feet but is too tired to immediately make the cover. Mrgala taunts the crowd and arrogantly poses over Lance for a second. He then pulls Lance back to his feet and goes for an atomic drop. Invictus blocks with a thumb to the eye. Punch by Invictus and both men trade fists before Megala hit’s a backdrop. 1,2...and another kick out by Invictus! Megala gets up and screams in rage at the crowd before verbally abusing Mercer again. Megala holds his head in his hands and then pulls Lance to his feet. Megala whips Lance off the ropes but Lance hits a drop toe hold.
"Megala is stuck!"
"No...he just breaks free...Lance would have had him at his mercy there...and he wouldn't have shown any whatsoever!"
Megala lands by the ropes and as he tries to get up gets his arms tangled up! Lance charges but Megala breaks loose at the last moment and Lance gets his leg stuck in the ropes. He breaks loose but both men are hurt and down on the mat. Silvio looks like he will climb to the top and slowly does. Megala goes for a cross body but Lance catches him! Lance then drives Silvio to the mat as Neal Steal appears at ringside! Mercer immediately goes to the outside to confront Steal who only a few weeks back was kidnapped by Mercer and held hostage by Mercer’s pirate associates. As Mercer confronts Steal the figure 4 is applied by Lance! Megala begins tapping out but Mercer is still distracted by Steal.
"Steal is distracting Mercer!"
"Steal is a son of a bitch! What a kiss ass! Invictus had the match won! Yes! Knock him out!"
Mercer decks Steal with a right hand but the crowd who would normally rejoice at Steal being assaulted are trying to draw Mercer’s attention to the ring. Lance gets up and yells at Mercer saying he had Megala beaten. As Mercer explains Steal’s distraction Megala comes up from behind with a small package! 1,2...Mercer fails to spot Megala’s feet are on the ropes…3! Megala has stolen this victory from the courageous Invictus! On the outside Neal Steal smiles as he tries to struggle back to his feet.
"The winner of this bout at 20:01 and still PWR World Champion...Silvio...MEGALA!!!"
"This wasn’t Mercer’s fault but will Lance Invictus blame him for being easily distracted by Steal?"
"Mercer was just doing his job but will Lance see it that way?"
Megala quickly leaves the ring as Lance holds his head in frustration.
"He gave Megala a real battle but thanks to Steal it wasn't quite enough."
"Invictus will want to kill Steal as well as Megala now. What an asshole Steal is ruining this great matchup. Anyway hopefully we will get the answer to the questions we posed earlier? Why did Luke John make Mercer the referee here tonight? From Al Walters and myself David Saturn its good night! See you next week on CRASH Tv!"
The scene fades as Megala celebrates on the ramp. Steal raises his hand in the air as the crowd throw garbage at them. The scene closes on Invictus who stares at both men with pure hatred.
